Donald’s Night Out is a sentimental, artistic drama about stepping outside the life that has been prescribed for you. Donald O’Fallon leaves his assisted-living home for one unplanned evening in New York, chasing the simple possibility of feeling present again.

Filmed across constructed sets in Los Angeles and practical locations, including a working assisted-living home with residents appearing as extras, the production paired an intimate human story with the romance and isolation of a city after midnight.
